Description
- Own the entire Oncology franchise – develop and implement the brand strategy and launch plan for two products at different lifecycle stages
- Own the brand plan in Marketing and Sales.
- Development and delivery of brand positioning, messaging, and creative to optimize clinical differentiation
- Development and delivery of pricing and contracting strategies to optimize competitive positioning
- Own the forecasts and market research to support strategic choices
- P&L ownership
- Budget ownership
- Agency management – Work with the agency to develop and deliver all of the tactical elements of the promotional mix (i.e. field, congresses, ad boards, etc.)
- Point for internal working relationships
- Partners with Medical Affairs on “medical marketing” initiatives including KOL engagement, publications, medical congresses, advisory boards, speaker programs, LCM strategies, guideline strategies, etc.
- Partners with Market Access to optimize the value proposition of products
- Works closely with sales training to develop and implement field readiness plans (onboarding plans, training modules, launch meeting, etc.)
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional partners (medical, legal, regulatory, corporate communications, etc.) to develop promotional materials and to obtain required approvals
- Works closely with Sales Operations and Market Planning to ensure necessary metrics/KPIs are in place to monitor performance
- Partners with Manufacturing and Finance to ensure accurate supply planning and inventory management
- Participates in commercial evaluation of business development opportunities
- Bachelors degree (advanced degree preferred)
- At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health care industry
- At least 7 years of brand management in the pharmaceutical/health care industry
- Oncology experience is required
- Buy and Bill is required
- A record of leading successful product launches
- Proven ability to manage a Multi-Million dollar budget with several deliverables (mange and handle trade offs to get the best mix and result from the budget)
- Ideal would have early planning experience
